This one can also be applied in sleeping. But then, how much sleep do we ever need? How many hours does our body need for sleep?

They made an experiment for those who people who have slept 8, 6 and 4 hours if sleep every night. The one who slept with 8 hours exhibit few cognitive issues. Those who slept in 6 and 4 hours showed a steady result. Those 6 hours group had shown a lower tolerance in alcohol. The 4 hour of sleep had encountered during their cognitive tests and falls asleep during that time.

In addition, brain functions decreased day by day in each group.

Sleep deprivation for long time on the scale of weeks and months, the recovery of cognitive functions is much slower requiring more nights of quality sleep.

While on the sleep deprivation for months to years, brain functions can’t be fully repaired. It then affects your sleepiness and on how tired you feel levels up. Which simply means that you are starting to be unaware of objective impairment over time.
