Cosplay are works of imagination.

This photo represents a couple of first for me. For example, this is the first photo that I’ve taken with a model and using remote controlled flash to capture the stars and the model in one shot. Also, it marks the first time I drive 1,400 miles, driving over 22 hours roundtrip in one weekend, just to get some shots. The elegant skull (or La Catrina by it’s name in Spanish) is an iconic image from the Day of the Death Mexican celebration. It seemed very fitting to do this shot at the Terlingua ghost town cemetery.
