There are habits which we do after eating our breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We might not know it but, these things that you usually do after eating have an adverse effect to your body.

So instead of doing it again and thinking it has nothing to do with your health, better read this and eventually apply it next time, it might be a little thing you do but the effect might be a risk to your health.

Here are some things that you should avoid after eating:

  1. Avoid Taking A Bath

Did you know that taking a bath short after you took your meal delays digestion? The blood circulation in the stomach that should help in digestion is being disrupted while taking a bath.

  1. No Sleeping

After taking a meal usually leads you to being sleepy. But don’t plunge yourself just yet. Sleeping stops the digestion of food inside the stomach.

  1. No Tea

Tea contains acid that could harden the protein you just took from your meal. It makes the digestion difficult. It will also interfere your body from absorbing iron.

  1. No Fruit after having a meal

Fruit can be digested easily by our body. But when you consume fruits after meals, it might stuck for a longer time and decay. It is best to eat fruits before eating.

  1. Refrain from Dancing after eating

Moving too much after meals will give your intestine a hard time absorbing all the materials inside your stomach.

  1. Loosening the belt

Often than not, we generally loosen our belts during a good meal. But loosening the belt is not advisable, not because it causes the intestines to twist or block but because it means that you have over eaten to a level that you are uncomfortable with the belt becoming a noose. Loosening of the belt may also cause you to feel comfortable once again which means you may continue overeating.
