Do you still remember that moment when you accepted Christ to rule over your life? That time when you opened up your heart and mind while standing firm on His front and get the baptism? Well, I did still remembered that day seven years ago when I converted to Seventh-day Adventist. It was a very fulfilling moment knowing that the Holy Spirit was within you and there’s a power within the water poured over on you.
“God, if you’re there come and rescue me. Felt love pouring down from above. Got washed in the water, washed in the blood and now I’m changed.. And now I’m stronger” This is just one of the meaningful messages came from Carrie Underwood’s “Something in the Water” song. Her song talks about the power of baptism and how special it is to change everything about and within us.
It is so nice to hear songs about the unconditional love of God especially when you need a little faith and hope in life; and what’s even more wonderful is when you know God’s way of saving you through baptism. Indeed, there must be something in the water. Rejoice with the Lord all through the days of your life and everything will be in good hands. Amen.
