After 30 Years, Ex-Lovers Met Each Other Again And Their Reaction Is Heartbreakingly Priceless

Love is a beautiful thing but it’s also a painful one. When you get to know someone and love him so deeply, you can’t even try to imagine leaving that certain person. But in every relationship that blooms, a heart gets tired and give up, causing the ‘letting go’ part to come in.Breaking up with someone you deeply and sincerely love is heartbreaking. Many can attests to that (even me for the first time), but you can’t stop what’s meant to be.

If two lovers decide to stop, there’s no turning back. Two of the world’s greatest artists, Marina Abramovic and Frank Uwe Laysiepen aka ‘Ulay’, who were lovers before, felt the same thing when they decided to end their relationship after a trip to the Great Wall of China in 1988. However, destiny made them see each other again after 33 long years when Marina Abramovic presented her exhibit and Ulay was one of the spectators.

Oh, the tears! (Imagine seeing your first love after several years). Abramovic and Ulay had relationship in the ’70s and ’80s, but symbolically ended their union by walking from opposite ends of the famous landmark and meeting each other at a certain point to say goodbye forever (or so she thought). Watching them at 2:29 mark really proves that their love must’ve been so strong. Now I’m crying!

  1. Hi in our lives we all experience our ONE TRUE LOVE … but when reality and maturity step in we realize some things are really not meant to be and so no matter how heartbreaking this is we have to accept and trust the Lord …. why why just let HIS will be done!!!

  2. Last May 28-April 4, 2015. I was in a long distance relationship for almost 3 years. Cultures and values led to separation and He decided to marry the woman family chosen to him. But we decided to do the separation by meeting in somewhere in Thailand for the first and last time. It is already a heartbreaking meeting ..Unforgettable and full of love, respect and care. The last question we asked to each other is ARE WE GOING TO MEET AGAIN? we both said yes but no specific date..since we both living in a different and far land of thei world. Now, I am wondering how and what will be our reaction if we meet again.. knowing that we still both love each other.

  5. Yes that’s true. After 33 years and no communication without break up and when time comes and meet, tears fall without controlling. Can’t imagine no break up and for long years both of you are married. As in you don’t like him to go.only memories will stay.

  6. He was my boyfriend when i started college. He moved to his mom’s place to study. There was no closure. After 32 long years, we reconnected through fb and decided to meet on a valentines day, we were inseparable for 5days and it was bliss! That was 4yrs and 7mos ago. Ours is a long distance relationship but he calls and we talk over the phone every single day and we try to spend days together every month. We will be celebrating our 5th year anniversary (after reconnection, that is) in October. I say…when someone is meant to be in your life, they will always find their way back home to you, no matter how long the absence or how far the distance…true love never dies.
