Video Captures Spectacular Sea Of Clouds Filling The Grand Canyon

Temperature inversion is not and unusual weather phenomenon, but if it happens in a beautiful place, it creates a rare and spectacular scene, leaving all viewers in awe. That’s what exactly happened at the famous Grand Canyon in Arizona, United States last week.

Tempersion Inversions happen when air gets warmer in the sky than on the ground, resulting into a layer of low-lying clouds. On Thursday, clouds filling the Grand Canyon was captured by a camera.  The one minute-video that took 15 minutes in real-time shows a sea of clouds coming in and going out of the canyon. Check it out below.

This was not the first time that temperature inversion happened at the Grand Canyon because last year, the visitors were also treated to the same view. Cory Mottice of the National Weather Service told Mashable that it will clear up in the coming days.
