A one particular incident can change everything in our lives in just a matter of month, week, days or even second. And for this loving father named Chris Picco, life will never be the same again.
Chris Picco’s wife passed away after giving birth to their son Lennon by an emergency c-section at only 24 weeks. Lennon is a premature baby and the health providers in Loma Linda University Hospital had been worried of his lack of movement and brain activity.
While Lennon was still inside his mother’s womb, Ashley Picco would feel that he is moving to music. So Chris asked to bring his guitar inside the neonatal intensive-care unit to play a song for him. He played The Beatles’ “Blackbird” for several hours to his little son.
However, after one day, Lennon passed away in his father’s arms. Our thoughts and prayers are with Chris Picco and to the extended family.
