“she” didn’t transition because “she” didn’t like/got tired of being pretty. fun fact for people who aren’t trans! gender dysphoria is not hating how you look but rather *gasp* (often extreme) discomfort with one’s sex characteristics! yes, this young man transitioned because his sex characteristics did not fit his gender (yes, i’m using gender to mean gender identity rather than what’s between your legs or what your chromosomes say. gender and sex are linked but i do not believe them to be the same.) i’m sure if a man who isn’t trans suddenly woke up with a complete female body shape and female reproductive system he would be pretty uncomfortable too!
of course, to an uneducated cisgender person though, they have never experienced the gender dysphoria trans people experience and so will speculate it must be because the trans person didn’t like how they looked, hated gender roles, etc.
