6 Of The Most Haunted Places In The World That Are Too Scary To Visit With. OMG.

There are places nice to visit with and there are some which are too terrifying to even look at- places that are bound to scare you off because of the creepy story it has. In those scary places, you’ll find nothing but accounts of death, ghosts and mysterious or unexplained happenings.

We have previously featured different kinds of horrifying stories and most of them are connected with some abandoned places, but it seems like ghosts exist everywhere and there are still untold stories of them.

Below are just some of scary places around the world that has some scary stories that are needed to be told.

1. Highgate Cemetery, North London, England

An interesting structure to look at during the day turns into something that can be compared to a scary movie by night.  Old and broken gravestones cover the area of this land while ivy covers the passage ways and tombs.  This haunting area of England still attracts many tourists despite its eerie feeling.  They hold tours but would not suggest entering the premises when the sun goes down.

2. Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh, Scotland

This Breath taking castle stands on top of a rocky mountain that is classified as medieval.  In the empty halls on the skinny streets of Edinburgh, Scotland you can hear the resonances of the dead which people have reported to experience.  It holds the prison cells in which they used to quarantine the victims of the plague.  It has been known to hold the ghosts of dogs, a headless drummer and the prisoners held captive during the American War of Independence.

3. Dominican Hill, Baguio City, Philippines

This once fully operated seminary in the Philippines is now believed to be haunted by the people who were killed during in it during the war.  Locals claim to hear noises throughout the night believed to be the disturbing shouts of beheaded nuns during World War II.  It was turned into a hotel but was soon shut down and now remains abandoned.

4. Berry Pomeroy Castle, Totness

This 14th century castle has been known to be haunted by two female ghosts known as the white lady and the blue lady.  Legend has it that the white lady is the spirit of Margaret Pomeroy who died of starvation in a dungeon because her sister was jealous of her.  The blue lady is believed to bring people into the castle where the white lady haunts the dungeons.

5. Bhangarh Fort, India

It is believed that a type of black magic cursed the palace therefore capturing everyone’s soul who enters it and it will stay there forever without a chance to be reborn.  It is known to be the most haunted place in India and people who visit it still typically feel edginess and anxiety.  The government has prohibited the visiting of this structure after sunset. 

6. Monte Cristo, New South Wales, Australia

It was believed that the owner of this house who lost her husband had only left her house two times for the next 23 years until she died.  Her ghost haunts and patrols the room in which she spent most of her time.  People have reported upon entering her child’s room, they could not breathe and began to turn purple.
