One author in the name of Patrick Ness once said that “being a boss makes you let the people you love hate you a little more each day.” Well, in the world of business, it is damn true- not because you’re horrifying to look at, but simply because you’re in authority and whatever you ask is always followed.
Somehow I do still believe that most leaders are admired because they’re the one that drives everything for the welfare of the partners and constituents. There are so many known leaders or boss in the world, but there just some who are loved.
One of them is the CEO of the online company Net-a-Porter, Mark Sebba, who recently made the decision to step down as the CEO after his service of 11 years. But without Sebba’s knowledge, he’s always been loved by his employees.
It is ordinary day for him to walk to his office but something he didn’t expect happened. Really UNEXPECTED. 🙂
