This Bike Is Not Ordinary Like It Looks. It Has Something You Never Expect. Wow!

One of the easiest ways to go to your destination is through biking. It’s pretty cool most especially when you want a little exercise or go sightseeing near places around the town. But unlike cars and other ‘appropriate’ vehicles, a bike is not safe to drive with- it is prone to accidents.

But though people know its consequences, some would still engage in using them no matter what. So to improve it, Seattle’s Teague Team which is led by Taylor Sizemore settles to make the bike of the future called ‘Denny’.

Seattle is known as a great place for biking and Sizemore continuously proved it, in charge of the design and fabrication of the Denny, and his ideas are awesome.

Meet Denny, the dubbed ‘ultimate utility bike’ and the ‘bike of the future’..

Like most bikes, this bike looks ordinary, but its features are undeniably cool..

It has a handlebar lock system and this handlebars can be opened to secure your bike to a post..

The handlebars also actually come off of the bicycle and serve as a u-lock, eliminating the need to carry around a bike lock. Additionally, the designers say that a handlebar less bike is less attractive to bike thieves.

It has also handy and secured tray so carrying things around shouldn’t be a problem either..

Considering the amount of rain Seattle gets, the inclusion of rubber bristles on the fender will help to remove water from the wheels..

Denny also features a pretty cool lighting system. The bike’s lights adjust automatically based on the amount of light outside, meaning riders are always visible.

Electric pedal assist doesn’t hurt, either. It would make getting up steep hills a little easier..

The battery is also removable for easy charging..

Denny also features a neat break light..

neat turn signals..

That would help cyclists ride more cohesively with drivers..

Denny is actually one of the finalists for The Bike Design Project, a competition for the ultimate urban utility bike that will best suit to every rider. Unfortunately, the voting has finally closed yesterday, August 3 and the winning entry will be out soon. I just hope Denny will make it.
