What This Artist Paints On Food Is Really Exceptional. It’s So Incredibly Tiny You’ll Just Have To Say… WOW!

I can’t really comprehend how an artist’s mind works. There are many art masters whose stunning creations keep on surprising me – and one of them is Turkish artist Hasan Kale.

The 54-year-old extremely talented artist specializes in a unique type of art – painting on tiny food items. Using extraordinary canvases such as peanut shells, split almonds, onion peels, bits of chocolate or anything as long as it’s tiny and edible, Hasan is able to achieve incredibly miniature paintings. He is delighted in depicting landscapes of his native Istanbul and most of these are so tiny, it requires a magnifying glass to see clearly and appreciate each detail.

Though the length of time each objects he paints would last is questionable, his impressive steadiness of his hands are undeniable. Hasan keeps on challenging himself to go beyond his limits and artistically conquer all tiny surfaces. It would no surprise if one day, he’ll be able to paint the whole Istanbul on a strand of hair – or maybe even a grain of sand.
