While there are people who were lucky enough to be living near the coastal area, there are some who would take hours or even days to reach the nearest beach. And while there are those who love swimming at the beach, there are others who would just enjoy the view and not go into the water (in fear of sharks).
And if you are one of those people who loves beach but prefers to dip in the pool, then this resort in Japan is perfectly made just for you. This is the SeaGaia Ocean Dome, the world’s largest indoor water park and it’s basically a tremendous man-made beach.
The Ocean Dome holds a Guinness World Record for being the largest indoor water park.
With an area of 300 meters long and 100 meters wide, this water park is simply enormous.
But unlike real ocean, the Dome features a variety of pools; the best of which is the one resembling a beach.
There is also a wave pool where surfers can practice their skills.
Kiddie pools and water slides are also available for the young ones.
Another feature of the Dome is its retractable roof so you don’t have to worry staying out of the sun or getting ruined by a sudden rainstorm.
When swimming in the Dome Ocean, you enjoy a beach-like experience without having to worry about jellyfish, sharks, or sea urchins.
Even if there is a real coast line just less than a mile away from the SeaGaia resort, people are still coming in to enjoy, not the fresh air, but all of the amenities of a record-breaking water park.
