It’s been almost 10 days since the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 went missing after it vanished in the air last March 8.
People around the world join the family of 239 passengers including the 12 crews of the missing airline.
Here is a snapshot of some of the passengers:
Hu Siwan and Hu Xiaoning were traveling home back to Beijing. Ms. Zhang, 34, often updates her site with photos of Siwan, 3 and her doting father – Hu Xiaoning, 34, with affectionate postings like “Daddy, Pan Pan (Siwan’s nickname) is so blissful to have you!” and “Let us live together, happily ever after!”
Guan Huajin, 34 is trraveling to Beijing for a business trip. She is an employee of Austin-based technology company Freescale Semiconductor.
“The long distance lover”
Yue Wenchao, 26, who is studying in Britain, traveled to Kuala Lumpur to visit his girlfriend.
Madam An Wenlan, 65, a former nurse and currently a painting artist traveled to Kuala Lumpur to attend an art exhibition themed: “Chinese Dream: Red and Green Paintings”.
“Two-year-old’s overseas outing”
Wang Moheng who just turned 2, is traveling home with his parents Wang Rui and Jiao Weiwei from a vacation to Malaysia.
“Teenage lovers heading to school”
Hadrien Wattrelos, 17 and Zhao Yan, 18 are young teenage lovers traveling to China to study.
Norliakmar Hamid, 33 and Razahan Zamani, 24 are a couple traveling to Beijing to celebrate their second anniversary.
“Young parents on a romantic getaway”
Bai Xiaomo, 37 and Muktesh Mukherjee, 42 are a young couple traveling back to Beijing from a romantic beach getaway to Vietnam
“Doting grandparents who love travelling”
Catherine and Robert Lawton, a couple in their 50’s were traveling together on a holiday vacation.
“Engineer starting his dream job”
Paul Weeks, 39 is traveling to Mongolia for his first shift as part of a fly-in-fly-out job for a mining and construction company, a job he really loves.
“IBM employee who followed his father’s footsteps”
Philip Wood, 50 is an IBM Malaysia employee who raised his family in Texas
Puspanathan Subramaniam, 34 has travelled frequently for work. But when he was about to set off to Beijing on a business trip last Friday, his children cried and asked him not to go. “He nearly cancelled his flight but I told him to go ahead,” his father said, adding that the family had to rush to the airport because they were running late. “How I wish we did not make it and he missed the flight.”
Ju Kun, 32 is a Hollywood stuntman travelling to Beijing to visit his 2 children.
Mohammed Khairul Amri Selamat, 29 is a Malaysian civil aviation engineer who works for a private jet charter company. Police are investigating all passengers and crew, but he is likely to be of particular interest because of his aviation knowledge.

Continue to pray for the lives the people who were in the missing aircraft and for their families who are waiting for them that they may not lose their hope.
