Identical twins Shonda and Shalisha Witherspoon from Florida International University (FIU) School of Engineering graduated with the same Grade Point Average (GPA). The twins got an identically impressive 3.95 GPAs after passing the difficult course.
“I’m so very proud of them,” their mom told CBS Miami. “They worked so hard and they studied hard and they’re dedicated students so this moment just means the world to me.”
Shonda and Shalisha also made history as the first to dual recipients to receive Best Undergraduate Student of the Year Award at FIU.
The newly grad credit their success with each other. According to an article published by CBS Miami, they motivate each other to strive hard in their studies.
“Sometimes when they ask a question, we answer at the same time,” Shonda added.
