Phoebe Buffay-Hannigan, the fictional character from the NBC sitcom Friends, portrayed by Lisa Kudrow became famous during the shows run because the ridiculous song “Smelly Cat” which Phoebe created. The song was indeed terrible but it doesn’t stop Taylor Swift in inviting Lisa Kudrow in one of her show.
Lisa Kudrow admitted that she really doesn’t have the best voice compared to other well known singer but she got an instant follower in the person of Taylor Swift.
During the “1989 Tour” of Taylor Swift she invited Phoebe Buffay on stage for a rendition of the now-iconic song “Smelly Cat.” The “Friends” character even taught Taylor Swift on how to sing and performed the song.
The internet was surprised with the gesture of Taylor Swift in inviting one of the most famous character on TV during her tour.
