At first you might though that there is mutual between the two species apparently that is because the whale gives the birds something to eat. But what is behind this is more than that.
This is a killer whale, and it’s a hunter. This video only explains that being big is not enough to get a treat. More often you have to be wise and fast. And this predator has all that.
These birds think too that this whale is good enough to give them a treat. Not that fast though. When one of them fall into the whale’s bait that is when everything becomes clear.
This is a battle between those who are fast and witty. I guess this would serve then as a good lesson for the other birds. Check this out.
