Rare Footage: Group Of Researchers Discover Glow In The Dark Sharks

Water covers approximately 70% of the Earth’s surface. From rivers, lakes, seas, oceans, trenches and many more, still we haven’t explored all the bodies of water.

There are species that are up until now to discover, marine animals that as of today yet to be named and one of which is a neon shark which was discovered by a group of researchers.

Last January 8, 2014, a group of researchers studying bioflourescent corals a shark, stingray, eel and other species of fish that reflects light. Sporting a special lighting and camera filters, the group was able to discover more than 180 biofluorescent marine animals.
