Meet Japan Air Line’s CEO Who Earns Money Less Than His Pilots

Japanese CEO

Great responsibility doesn’t only the thing that comes when you have the great power because what likely happens is you also have great money. That’s a reality; painful for those who work more than average of their job while overwhelming for those who has less work.

And to the CEO of one of the world’s top 10 international airlines, Haruka Nishimatsu, it’s also painful. Unlike other CEO around the world, he earns money less than his pilots and even lines up in cafeteria like all other employees in his company.

Nishimatsu makes about $90,000 and that’s because his company JAL is still on the long process of recovery and he’s prepared for it. It’s not a big deal for him if he got no more money as long as he’s helping his hardworking employees.

What do you think of Mr. Nishimatsu’s story? Share your thoughts on the comment box below.
