Nikolas Wallenda also known as “Nik” is an American acrobat, aerialist, daredevil, high wire artist and author. He is also called as “The King of Wire” because of his insane high-wire performances without any safety net! Oh my!

This man holds seven Guinness World Records for various acrobatic feats! This guy is a superhuman! What an extraordinary person!

Here are Nik’s insane high-wire acts and world records:

Aug. 4 2001 – sets the Guinness world record for tallest tightrope 4-person-high pyramid with 7 other members of his family in Japan. 25 feet about the ground.

Oct. 15, 2008 – Sets the Guinness world record for longest tightrope crossing by bicycle, 235 feet in Newark, N. J.

Aug. 28, 2010 – Sets another world record for highest bicycle tightrope crossing, 238 feet high between two hotel towers in Bahamas.

June 4, 2011 – Walked on a 135-foot-long high wire between the 2 towers of the 10-story Condado plaza.

June 15, 2012 – Crosses Niagara Falls 1,800 feet high. World record for the first tightrope walker to cross the falls.

June 23, 2013 – crosses the Little Colorado River gorge the Grand Canyon on a 1,300-foot-long wire.
