This Man With Cerebral Palsy Works With A Typewriter. He’s Not An Author But His Works Will Blow You Away. WOW!

Art comes in various forms – music, drawing, painting, pottery, sculpture, acting and architecture just to name a few. While there are many artists who have risen to fame and their names and artworks have been recognized all over the world, none of them has been more inspiring than Paul Smith and his masterpieces.

Paul Smith was born with severe spastic cerebral palsy causing him to have very limited movements. But he never let his condition stop him from expressing himself. In fact, it led him to have a determination that’s endless. In an Oregon nursing home, Paul works with his typewriter – not as an author, but as an artist.

His disorder makes it impossible for him to use a brush or a pen, but as a young man, he discovered the keys to accomplish his artworks through a typewriter keyboard. Using just ten of the symbol keys, Paul tirelessly types away with one finger to create hundreds of masterpieces including a replica of the Monalisa.

He is indeed an artist, who did not only impress us with his astonishing paintings but also inspired us with his incredible determination and positive outlook in life. Paul Smith may have gone (he passed away in 2007) but his works have been written in our hearts and it will continue to live on… forever.
