There are bunch of amazing artists existing right now and almost each of them seems like competing for a very dignified creation that will stand out among others. If some would limit themselves to what they just can do, some undoubtedly chose to be more realistic.
One of them is Italian artist Bruno Walpoth, who has a knack for sculpting of wood yet his subject aren’t simple- it’s all human-like. With the expression of the eyes to the body’s fleshy curves of his lifelike sculptures, his finished output is very haunting to look at.
In an email sent to The Huffington Post, Walpoth said that wood basically runs in his veins. “In our valley there is a 400-year-old tradition of wood-sculpting culture. Both my grandfather and my uncle were wood sculptors, and so I grew up with this medium.”
