Not all people living in this world is privileged enough to have all that they needed. It so sad to know that there are some people who have to endure the pain because they can’t afford to seek medical assistance.
Volunteer doctors met a man along the beach in Haiti who complained about his aching arm. When they tried to check it, they were surprised to know that this man’s upper arm had a complete fracture of the humerus which caused him to have three elbows. But what shocked them most is to know that his condition has not been treated for two years.
He related that during the first year, it hurt a lot but the pain went away after a year and was still able to use his arm because the muscles have grown to hold the arm.
It’s just saddens me to know that this has to suffer the pain and his condition has to go for 2 years without being checked or treated and even have not been given medication for pain because he has no money and access to care.
Thanks to these volunteer doctors who found him and have arranged someone there to perform a surgery and have this guy’s arm back together.
