What You’re Looking At Isn’t Just A Building.. Look Closer ‘Coz There’s Something Blended Into It.. Perfect!

We have known and discovered a lot of artists with great talents making their masterpieces much known because of its distinctive work of art. And most of them indulge themselves into different processes to be unique and to stand among the rest.

But among these amazing artworks, body painting is very much pleasing to the eyes of viewers, not only because it’s beautiful but it’s too deceiving to look at.

Body painter Trina Merry is excellent with that method and she’s an avant-garde when it comes to imitate the beauty of the outside world. With so much patience, Trina Merry has been filling the streets of New York with body painted models camouflage into front of famous landmarks like the Brooklyn Bridge, Guggenheim Museum, Empire State Building, Central Park and the New York City skyline.

Of course, as body painting requires, most of her models need to stand topless in the middle of a busy street (something the city’s fairly liberal public nudity laws allow), but the final image is far more concealing than revealing.

Take a look at her amazing creations:

“I wanted to engage the city and understand it and make some observations,” Merry said. “So instead of a person right in front of the Empire State building or the Statue of Liberty, they’re softly in the background, and you’ve got more of a reflective view of the person within the landscape,” she added.
