This Beautiful Moth Looked So Real.. But It’s A Surprise When You Know What It’s Really Made Of.. WOW!

Life is beautiful, so does art proves it. For so many things our eyes greatly appreciate, art has always been the avenue. It influences us so much, making us so creative enough to be able to work on something from what life give us.

We created varied of masterpieces that speaks of our World, mankind, and other creations. We’ve made it through drawing, painting, and sculpting. If most artists would love to sculpt common and regular subject we see every day, there are some sculptor who likes to recreate creatures that are widely forgotten and somehow neglected.

Are you familiar with moths? I know you’ve seen these insects very often every night, but compared to its kin butterfly, moths aren’t really appreciated because of its unusual appearance. But unlike us, North Carolina-based artist Yumi Okita has a great fond of moths, which caused her to sculpt them creatively.

With so much patience, Okita sculpted moths in a very detailed, from colorful bodies to the intricate patterns on the wings, making these large-scale sculptures of moths very beautiful to look at.
