Riding a motorcycle in the rain really hurts. How much more if a large hail pelts you while you’re out on the beach, wearing your bikinis?
On Saturday, a video of a fierce hailstorm pelting down a crowded beach in Novosibirsk, Russia was uploaded to YouTube. The footage shows a strong wind first hit the beach sweeping away blankets and mats forcing a crowd of beachgoers to quickly pack their things up. Then, a heavy clump of hail was heard battering down. Everyone started to run for cover under the iron roof sheds. As the golf ball-sized hailstones continue to rain down and with all sources of shelters being taken, two poor guys ended up taking cover under his towel to protect himself.

The said video was taken by Nikita Dudnik and was uploaded to YouTube by Hazardous Weather on July 12.
The video has gained both positive and negative feedback with some saying that this event serves as a punishment for the Russians who are supporting the “war in Ukraine, hatred against gays, pollution of the environment.”
