An 18-Year-Old Student Made Herself Invisible.. Using Mirror Magic! AWESOME!

Got some weird dreams like telekinesis? Or vanishing act or invisibility?

If you’re just dreaming about it, 18-year-old student and Photographer Laura Williams made it into reality. With the use of only mirror and herself as a subject, Laura photographed and made herself invisible. The photo you can see below flaunting Laura as invisible was uploaded in her Flickr page last year 2013, which went viral and unexpectedly garnered about 160,000 views worldwide.

And later on February 2014, the photo was posted in the front page of Reddit and was dubbed “Photo of the Year” for 2013 by One Big Photo.

When Laura was asked about the ‘invisible photo’, she said that she feels really weird, and ever since the photo went crazy, she have had a lot more views of her other work which is really nice.

“Nature really inspires me. Just the dew in the mornings can make me go out with my camera and shoot. Dreams inspire me too. If I have a weird dream I will often take ideas from that. I try and keep a dream journal and write all the weird ones down. I would love to go freelance and shoot and edit album covers all myself. That is the dream, that is the goal.” Laura added.

Laura Williams studies at the Hills Road Sixth Form College in Cambridge and hopes to be a photographer and graphic designer someday.
