These delicious-looking foods are so tempting you may want to pick a piece of it and get it straight to your mouth. But before you do that, let me remind you that these mouthwatering meals are not what you think they are. They may be soft to chew but they are not edible. Why? Because they are food sculptures made from clay. And one more thing, they’re incredibly tiny.
These hyper-realistic, itsy-bitsy food art are created by American sculptor Kim Burke. The artist makes these minuscule sculptures for dollhouses as a hobby. She uses needle, colored chalk pastels, rock, razor blade and polymer clay to form a 1/12th scale miniatures of food. It could take her one to three hours to complete an item depending on the complexity of each piece.
