Among the many bodies of water present in this world, only the rivers are said to be more safe to swim with, not only because it doesn’t reach another body of water that might take you nowhere, but because of it’s little depth.
Many believed that river is somehow associated with life: many believed that a river represents the flow of time but some says that uncolored water of the river represents good health and colored ones symbolizes bad health. I don’t know if those mythical beliefs are true, but there’s this one river in Colombia that is far from what you expect if you’re looking for a river.
Colombia’s Caño Cristales or commonly known as ‘The River of Five Colors’ or ‘The Liquid Rainbow’ that is located in the Serrania de la Macarena province of Meta is one of a kind river found in the world because of beautiful striking colors which appears in many colors, including yellow, green, blue, black, and especially red caused by the riverweed family called Podostemaceae.
It might be caused by natural circumstance but when you see it, it seems like you’re looking into a rainbow below, not above you.
