This Cat’s Hobby Will Make Every Snow Leopard Be Green With Envy. Seriously… Awesome!

When it comes to outdoor adventures, you wouldn’t expect your cats to be engaging because they usually become timid and defensive. But Millie is an exception. After being adopted by mountaineer Craig Armstrong, the domestic feline developed a love for mountain-climbing and has become a legend.

Her skills are something which other cats can only dream of that even wild mountain cats would be jealous. Just take a look at the following photos and judge for yourself if there are any other cat you know who can be as skillful as Millie:

Millie is just like any ordinary looking cat.

She was abandoned by her owners when she was just a few days old but was luckily rescued from an animal shelter by climbing enthusiast Mr. Craig Armstrong.

Since then, Millie and Craig became an inseparable mountain-climbing team.

Craig said, “I just knew one day I would I would get a pet and when I did I would take it everywhere with me.”

“Millie is perfect – she’s a natural in the mountains.”

“Generally she does best on slabby routes where she can scramble from ledge to ledge. She’s an incredible athlete, she does some big jumps and gaps”

And since their adventures can sometimes be dangerous, Craig bought Millie a safety gear which gear consists of a miniature harness, a leash and some rope.

When they are roaming through valleys or across plains, Millie wanders harness free.

But if they are heading for a steep peak, the cat gets her own harness attached to Craig with metal loops and ropes.

She even almost lost one of her nine lives on her biggest ascent – the 305m (1,000ft) Thousands of Fun climb – when her tail got caught in some rappelling equipment and lost a clump of hair.

“Whether she’s following me or I’m following her I generally just stay close enough to rescue her from trouble. I love that little furball and I’d be traumatized if something bad happened, so I stay close”, says Craig.
