What This Woman And Her Dog Had In Common Will Absolutely Amaze You… What A Perfect Match!

Animals are also given this gift of intelligence to be able to understand and communicate with other animals as well as humans. That’s why, we never wonder if owners can easily build a special connection with their pets. But what if your beloved animal is disabled just like this dog who happens to lose its sense of hearing? That wouldn’t be a problem because this deaf hound knows sign language.

This is Rosie, a 3-year-old pit bull who unfortunately, could not hear.

Rosie The Deaf Dog

When she first arrived at the shelter, volunteer Tracie Pfeifle realized Rosie was deaf as the dog would not respond them.

Rosie And Tracie

Because of Rosie’s condition, Tracie (along with other workers at Humane Society in Aurora, Nebraska) decided to teach her sign language.

“Good girl, sit, down, stay, outside, and walk” are basic commands, but Tracie said it helped the three-year old dog came out of her shell.

And while they say that it’s harder for older or disabled dogs to get adopted, Rosie’s wait is now over.

She finally found someone to take her home and willing to learn her new language in the person of Cindy Koch which happens to be also deaf.

Since Koch family already knows sign language, it’s easy for them to learn Rosie’s signs and they want to continue teaching her more.

Judging by the way Rosie and her new owner looked at each other, the two will surely gonna be best buds forever.

It may be a bittersweet day for Tracie and the shelter workers who’d grown to love Rosie, but she is now going home with what they consider as the perfect family – one that can relate to her and understands her language.
