Erik Johansson is a renowned professional photographer and retoucher from Sweden. He uses photography as a way of collecting materials, retouching them to realize the ideas in his mind. Just as he said, “I don’t capture moments, I capture ideas.”
Despite the fact that he lacks formal training in photography, studio art or even classroom instruction in Adobe Photoshop, Erik still has become a master when it comes to photo retouching.
He says his works were inspired by his grandmother who is a painter and his passion for video games. He combined the two with the help of computers to produce images that a camera could not capture.
