Brilliant Japanese Photographer Miki Asai, perfectly manage to capture the water, flowers and ants which most of it could be seen on her own garden.
Though there are some photographers who can also do what Miki Asai can show off, still her photography will definitely stood out as she took it with a long patience just to capture it flawlessly.
This magnificent Photographer said in 500px, that it all started when she got her macro lens and by that time, she began to take photos in her garden, “As I was looking through the viewfinder, I noticed there were beautiful raindrops and a tiny ant walking through the frame,” and furthermore she added, “I might not have even seen it if I wasn’t using a macro lens. So I thought to myself—how can I shoot these things more beautifully?”
Miki Asai who was raised in the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido, also revealed her secrets in the field of macro-world photography, particularly in controlling the ants, “I learned that when it comes to living things—if you want to achieve the shot that’s in your head—patience is really the only way,” and added, “I’ve been asked by others how I control ants, but humans shouldn’t be able to control them. You’ve got to use a tripod, an appropriate shutter speed and depth of field, then rely on your own passion and patience.”
As she awesomely captured these amazing miniature moments, Miki Asai used the Canon EOS Kiss X5 and the Canon EF-S60mm F2.8 macro USM lens.
