No one in us is exempted to the role of having responsibility. From the moment we have fully realized our existence, we know that we’re responsible for something in this world. Parents are responsible for their children; children are responsible for their parents, teachers to their pupils, medical individuals to their patients, and police officers to people around them.
Responsibility takes us to things we can handle, but there are certain times when responsibility asks for more than your duty like what these police officers had experienced. They go above and beyond their line of duty, and proved sometimes no uniform is needed for being ‘human.’
Take a look at how they did some good deeds around the corner:
1. They can be children.. again.
2. They’re not that ‘hard’ not to love animals.
3. They’re always a ‘father.’
4. They knows ‘who’ needed help like this police officer in Arizona who bought a pair of brand new boots and gave them to a homeless man.
5. They have BIG concern for everyone like these two officers who still delivered this pizza to Steve Huckins’ house after the delivery driver got into an accident.
6. They carry pedestrians out of puddles.
7. They protect EVERYTHING and everybody.
8. They tend to those in pain, even if they aren’t human. Like this officer, helping a cow that just got hit by a car.
9. They truly, genuinely care about your well-being; like this officer, Kevin Berthia, who spent time talking suicidal Kevin Briggs out of jumping.
10. They can be mechanic fixing flat tires.
11. They seem to be very car-savvy for those in need, like this cop who helped a person after she ran out of gas.
12. They even risk their lives for your fluffy loved ones; like Officer David Harriman, who jumped into a lake to rescue this dog from a submerged vehicle.
13. They do the unthinkable to rescue people, like this Beijing cop who handcuffed himself to a suicidal woman so he could rescue her.
14. No matter how tired they are, they’ll still lend a helping hand.
15. They even take the time to remind others that they’re valuable, too.
16. And last, but definitely not least, they know when to have some fun!
17. They even take a little bit of time out of their day to remind youths that they’re people too.
