6-foot-tall, 330-pound powerlifter named David Douglas a.k.a “The Beast” is known to be a tough guy. In fact, he can bench 600 pounds and lift 700 pounds easily.
But when he saw Lindsay Ratcliffe, a 12-year-old girl whose suffering from progeria, in a powerlifting event in Detroit, USA, his firm body was like melted along with his heart.

In their first encounter, Douglas embraced her with all of his heart and as of this time, they seemed to be inseparable. He never thought that this cute little girl who’s battling for her survival would change his life forever.
“She pulls me out of rough spots just by thinking of her. That is a priceless gift,” he said in an article published by Viralnova.com.
