Quite but quick. These two are needed to be a successful hunter. And for a polar bear that is hungry, using both in hunting seal is a must to be successful.
As the sea begins to break up in summer, animals in the frozen corners of the world has to hunt for food. This seal was gracing the sun to peak out from the clouds not realizing that a hunter was silently waiting for a right time to strike.
And as this polar bear ingeniously uses the drift ice to sneak up on a seal, the prey was unsuspicious of what will happen next.
Only if the seal listened to its instinct but it was now too late…the polar bear drenched out of water with its prey.
