To avoid traffic congestion, overpasses are built across highways where only pedestrians are allowed to avoid them in contributing to heavy traffic.
However, the overpasses has to have vertical clearances to let the bigger trucks to pass through it without hitting the top.
But more to that, truck drivers must see to it that their trucks could pass through by checking the vertical clearance before making through—that is one thing this driver took for granted.
