Look What Happens In A Liquid Droplet With An Underlying Bath. Purely Stunning.

Things around us could impress us with their own beauty and nature. However, when we look closer to the things around us given a different perspective, we can see that there is more to what we usually see that are far more stunning.

That doesn’t exempt the simple drops of water. In 1960, Charles and Mason demonstrated that a liquid droplet may not immediately merge win an underlying bath of the same liquid. When the droplet is gently released on the bath, it can undergo partial coalescence that most likely result to a daughter droplet.

However, what happens when a soap bubble settles onto a soap film? That is one thing we will discover here.

With this experiment, we try to answer the question by recording it the whole process through a high-speed video.
