There are so many creatures living in this world. Some of them are too cute to resist but, some of them are just so lethal. In America, there’s a bug called the “kissing bug”, a member of the Triatominae. What makes this bug dangerous is the parasites they carry called Chagas. It causes a severe condition that eats up the cardiac muscles resulting to its failure.
These bugs are indigenous in the South and the Central America affecting about 7-8 million people causing the lives of 12,500 lives annually. These “kissing bugs” are attracted to light and carbon dioxide from living organisms. The advice given to prevent these bugs from coming inside your house is to close windows and other entrances, repairing cracks near the windows or doors, and the like. Because, there is still NO vaccine for the condition it would bring once you’re bitten.
