Films have been drastically evolved since it’s first showing back in the days. If films before didn’t have colors and looks like monochromatic, now, they seem to be alive with colors. Colors are very important in pictures and in films because, you will think that what you’re watching is real knowing that you also live in a world full of colors.
But, did you know that filmmakers today uses colors to manipulate our emotions and reactions depending on a certain scene in a film? For example, using blue-cold tones are used in horror films, warm red tones for romance, desaturated colors in Scifi films, etc.
