Clueless “Price Is Right” Contestants Really Don’t Know How Much An iPhone Costs

The American television game show “The Price is Right” is not only famous for its extravagant prizes but also for the contestants, who react hilariously, who get all answers wrong and who have no idea how much a thing costs.

Before the 2014 ends, “The Price is Right” decided to give an iPhone 6 to the lucky studio contests. Anyone who watches the game show knows that the contestant who guessed closest to the price will win the prize. The first contestant guessed a whooping $7, 000 dollars and the second guessed $7, 501, while the fourth and third bid  $850 and $930, respectively. Host Drew Carey revealed that the actual retail price of an iPhone 6 is $1, 969 which is too far from the first and second guesses.

The funny part is when Drew Carey said: “I hope the marketing people are Apple are watching this.” Maybe the contestants thought that an iPhone costs too much or more than they actually are.
