Are you familiar on the word Mochi? Well, it is actually a Japanese rice cake traditionally eaten during Japanese New Year. It is also commonly sold and eaten during that said time in Japan. It is also said that it is made through a ceremony.
But as I watched this video, I actually come to wonder. As such, based on some news, this rice cake is indeed hard to make. Somehow, it really requires a lot of effort and time. But I guess, this one is just some sort of a better strategy.
On the start of the video, it looks like that 2 guys who are making it are actually skilled on that pounding thing. At the same time, it also seemed that it’s their number 1 source of income. It is obvious on the video that there are customers outside. Watch how it looks like on the video below.
As such, these two guys are really working hard and working hand in hand to their Mochi pounding. It’s like one man will pound it using that pounding wood and the other one will pound it using his hand. And this made it very fast. Amazing, right?
