This Pathway Looks Like The Sky Full Of Stars

Who doesn’t know Vincent Van-Gogh? I’m quite sure there is, but only to those who aren’t born yet. Vincent Willem van Gogh, though accused by some people as crazy, believed to be one of the most influential artists of his time. He was greatly known for his painting of ‘Starry Night’ that impacted Don McLean to write a song entitled ‘Vincent’, mainly to give tribute to the late Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh.

Like the singer-songwriter Don Mclean, Van Gogh’s influence still burns up until this generation, and to take that into evident, Dutch artist and designer Daan Roosegaarde made a perfect way not to forget the artist’s contribution to society.

With the use of low-in-the-dark technology and solar-powered LEDs, Roosegaarde brighten the night of Brabant, the Dutch county where Van Gogh was born and raised. He made the path glow where bicyclists made their way during night travel. Take a look at Roosegaarde’s amazing creation below:
