There are certain times when we found something at the street or in any place, and most of those things got some secret to reveal- secret that’s worthy to share for people since it can uplift one’s soul.
That is the story lies within this big bottle with a message sealed inside it.
It was found by some friends who went out fishing at Francis Beach, Half Moon Bay, California.
It was just an ordinary day for the group when they noticed this bottle washed up before their eyes.
Out of curiosity of what’s inside the bottle, they opened it.
And they found a sheet of rolled paper scripted “Moss Beach, CA 8/17/2014,” where it 100% originated.
They unrolled it..
and saw this..
It was a letter featuring a photo of a man in a bed surrounded by his family.
And the note read:
“My name is Mel, I have 3 beautiful kids and a beautiful wife of almost 54 years when I passed. I love the ocean, deep sea fishing, abalone hunting with My 2 Sons and visiting the tide pools with the whole Family. Today My Family is laying me to rest in a place that I love… the ocean. So, this starts my journey… If you find this message in a bottle please go to my Facebook page [redacted], post a pic of yourself and where you found me and send me back on my journey.

The group of friends found out that Mel’s family had taken a boat offshore to release his ashes along with the message in a bottle earlier that day.
So without any hesitation, they decided to return the message and resealed the bottle.
And they tossed the message in a bottle back into the water for someone else to discover and continue Mel’s story.
There is an exact place we always favored of, and since we feel so safe and secured in it, we want it to be the place where we would lay our body at rest forever. For Mel, it was the ocean. Luckily, that group of friends who found out the bottle was left touched and wanted Mel to continue his journey.
