There are a lot of people with unique and incredible skills we never imagined. Having such a unique skill takes a lot of time practicing, we often think on how these guys do it because it is quite impossible. In order of us to perfect a special skill we need to practice it daily, but there are people who are really gifted and born for it.

This guy has an impossible skill not breathing for several minutes; most of us will not be able to do it because it may cause our death. He is Stig Severinsen, a holder of multiple records in diving using his technique to control his breathing.

41-year-old Stig was known for his nickname “The Man who doesn’t breathe”, he also swam in 500ft underwater in 2mins and 11secs. He began free diving in 2003. In this video he holds his breath for 22 minutes!!

By the end of his first year of practicing, he had already broken three records, and then he spent almost ten years practicing and improving his skill. Last October 2012, Mr. Severinsen broke the record for the longest time breath.

Most of us can only hold breaths for few seconds or a minute but this guy was totally superhuman! How about you? How long can you hold your breath?
