There are certain things in life that we don’t seem to really understand – and for this kid it’s the thing which makes her brother different.
Ace is a big sister to Archie who suffers from a down syndrome. People think that her brother is different but for Ace, Archie is just like any other kid who jumps on the bed, plays in the pool, eats ice cream, and sometimes, gets to bother her. She said her mom tried to explain to her why people think Archie is different than the rest, but Ace doesn’t seem to understand it.
Archie was an orphaned kid (her mother left him in an orphanage) in Bulgaria who was then adopted by Ace’s family – and the following video tells their story.
No matter how the world sees Archie and whatever it is that makes him different in the eyes of other people (which for now, Ace totally don’t understand), this loving sister is just happy that Archie is her brother.
It’s just melts my heart to hear these sweet words coming out of this little kid who sees this little boy, once rejected by her own mother, to be her brother she will forever love and her best friend she will protect.
