As environment now drastically change, people also changes- we’re more advanced and highly independent to things we’re good at. But there are still some part of us that are in neglect to what’s the world is currently experiencing- unaware of what we’re doing.
For those who want to make necessary change, a sensible project is one of the best purpose; some do it by protest, but most engaged to express it through art and creativity.
Brazilian-based Adriana Bertini got something to speak too and she used her incredible talent to raise awareness, letting other people inspire through her fashion designs. Bertini wants other people reflect about the use of condoms, so she chose defective or expired condoms as her major paraphernalia in her dresses.
Bertini cuts, dyes and then employs manual weaving techniques to create dresses that have hit the catwalks in New York, San Francisco, and even Shanghai, China. She named her designs Condom Couture which includes everything she made from short cocktail dresses and tons to bikinis, carnival costumes and even accessories.
“I want my art to be everywhere reminding people of the necessity of prevention when you have sex,” Bertini told Daily Mail Australia.
