Homeless People Of Brazil Found New Hope With This ‘Casa Futebol’ Project.. Such A Brilliant Idea! BRAVO!

Poverty chooses no one. No matter where you are in the world, you can see people living in the streets begging for some money or food to eat. It’s a disgusting reality and unlike many other social issues, this infinite problem gradually and slowly kills more people. As statistics show, more than 80 percent of the world’s population lives in countries where income differentials are widening, that is about 870 million people worldwide who do not have enough food to eat, and 22,000 children die each day due to poverty.

This is very a drastic matter, and most countries aren’t really into solving this, and spend more money into military needs. But if most countries are into guns and ammunition, there are some countries which care too much in sports like Brazil.

FIFA World Cup is finally over yet hatred among countrymen of Brazil is still on focus because of the lack of concern of Brazil government towards the poor but lavishly spent billions of money in creating the big controversial stadium for the said football tournament.

But aside from the stadium used by FIFA, there are about 12 empty stadiums sitting, 2 of the venues were only temporary, and can be dismantled, and 3 or 4 will be remodeled to be use in the 2016 Olympics, leaving at least 6 unoccupied football stadiums.

So, what to do with the other 6 left out? It’s meant for dwellings of the homeless Brazilians!

French designers and architects Axel de Stampa and Sylvain Macaux made a brilliant idea of remodeling the empty stadiums into housing for the poor which they called ‘Casa Futebol’.

This Casa Futebol will be colorful modular housing units measuring 1,100 sq ft, which is more than enough room for a family of four.

According to Stampa and Macaux, Casa Futebol is not a question of denying the interest of Brazilians people for the soccer, otherwise of proposing an alternative in the deficit of housing, and stadiums will continue to be used, receiving soccer matches, a part of the ganancies of which can finance the construction and the maintenance of the houses.

Let us hope and pray that this project will come to reality, and more countries will follow this cause.
