Siblings, preferably called ‘brothers’ or ‘sisters’ are considered one of those persons who knew us too well. From those childhood days fighting over some cookies to adulthood fighting over boys. Well, I can really relate to that knowing I’m the second to the youngest (I have a 21-year-old younger brother), and to be exact, I have 3 eldest brothers, 1 younger brother, and 2 eldest sisters.

Quite fun, isn’t it? Candidly, yes. There would be times when you pull each other’s hair just because of a Westlife poster (me and my sisters we’re Westlife avid fans), arguing what movies to watch, arguing what viand to eat, and fighting over the TV’s remote control. Funny, but it’s perfectly normal. There would always be a day when you hate, love, hate, love, hate, love, hate, and love.

But like what Vietnamese believed, “Brothers and sisters are as close as hands and feet,” it’s only the family, your siblings, you would run into whenever life turns cold. That no matter how hard life may seems, siblings are there to cheer you up and help you stand up once again. It’s inevitable to have some fights, but we’ve always got to remember that nobody could ever take the fact that God loves you, that’s why He had given a friend in the face of a brother.
