Sure Photoshop is a powerful tool to alter one’s photo and turn in into anything we wanted it to look like. But make-up is also an effective instrument in transforming one’s image into a different being. And this is what a make-up artist Maria Malone-Guerbaa has proven in her extraordinary works.
Maria Malone-Guerbaa is a 40-year-old London-based freelance makeup and hair artist for films and TV, gifted with such an incredible talent to transform herself into almost any person with just the use of make-up (no prosthetic or special effects). The artist applies make-up and face paint to create something that looks like portraits of famous people painted on a living canvas – her face. The results are simply stunning, surprising and sometimes horrifying.
